The Increase Program Training will be a Virtual Class Experience and each Young adult will be assigned their own personal Increase Specialist (Motivator) that will help them throughout the program!!
Here are the All About Increase’s 10 Step’s to Success:
Step 1: Increasing your confidence and closing doors to barriers -Young Adults will met with their Increase Specialist (Motivator) to provide any resources needed to be successful in the training.
Step 2: Increasing and Achieving Goals -Youth will Discuss and Establish long- and short-term goals they want to achieve from the Training Program.
Step 3: Increase Soft Skills- Youth will learn how to maintain Self-control, High order of thinking, Communication Skills, Public Speaking, Professionalism and Teamwork.
Step 4: Increase Success in the Workforce-Youth will Create a powerful resume and cover letter to capture the attention of hiring managers.
Step 5: Increase Networking and Internet Search- Youth will Learn how to network to achieve goals and learn to set up social profiles.
Step 6: Increase Interview Etiquette-Youth need to be ready to answer question professionally and be professionally dressed. The youth will learn how to answer interview questions in person, virtually and over the phone!!! The famous ELEVATOR SPEECH is the key to Increase!!
Step 7: Increase to Saving-Youth need to know the basics of budgeting, the importance of having a bank account and understanding what credit is.
Step 8: Let’s Increase! – It’s time to apply for jobs, attend a job or career (virtual) fair to achieve your goals!!
Step 9: Increase Lifestyle Training-Throughout your journey of young adulthood youth will Need to be mature well-rounded adults. Examples of the topics that will be discussed is: Home management, importance of voting, adult decision making, healthy relationships….
Step 10: Retention Period-Your Increase Specialist (Motivator) will help you develop a plan to stay employed or continue your career success by following you throughout your journey to encourage and support you.
Bonus-Throughout the program, All About Increase will have Professional Speakers speak with the youth about job and career experiences.
What Makes All About Increase Different
Each participant of The Increase Program meets with both the CEO, Tristaca Patrick-Yarbrough, as well as an assigned personal All About Increase Support Specialist to determine what resources they need to be successful in the program. From basic needs such as food, housing, interview clothing, and access to public transportation to more complex needs, All About Increase serves as a guide to available resources. The key is our approach to personal assessments. By working with individual clients, both short- and long-term goals are established. Each person’s path is exactly that; personal. We endeavor to provide a path where their life goals and their purpose intersect. All About Increase works to introduce youth and young adults to greater opportunities through education, cultivation, and individual empowerment.
Sylvester (pictured above) is the first young adult that enrolled in the Increase Program. He plays football at Riverside High School with a GPA of 3.8! He had no work experience, but All About Increase is pleased to announce he is employed at Home Depot! Sylvester’s long-term goal is to attend Arizona State to become a professional athletic trainer, and he would also enjoy a career in wildlife ecology.
